I have two gaming related resolutions for the new year: (1) spend no more than $300 on new games and (b) beat 12 games from my backlog, inspired by an idea from a bunch of gamers on Reddit. I had a very hard time paring down my backlog into 12 "must play" games for 2016, but I have a list I'm happy with. You note that a few of the "games" are actually a series of games. I'm a cheater. Clearly.

I'll strike games off (and date them) as I beat them.

  1. Mass Effect Trilogy [One (6 Jan), Two (5 July), Three (1 Dec)]
  2. Bloodborne
  3. Nathan Drake Collection [One (Oct), Two (Oct), Three (Nov)]
  4. Rise of the Tomb Raider
  5. Life is Strange
  6. Fallout 4
  7. Lego Marvel
  8. Yoshi’s Wooly World
  9. The Master Chief Collection [Two (8 Feb), Three (5 Mar), Four]
  10. Persona 4 Golden
  11. The Last of Us
  12. Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition (19 Jan)
